Hmm...

I'd have to pull out my logbook, but I think in June I had about 350 hours, and now I'm past 550, approaching 600. :)

I totally missed this thread first time around! I'll have to pull out my logbook one of these days and see where I was after 100 hours. It'll be a lot more boring than most folks' first 100 -- problems with my 3rd class medical kept me from soloing until something like 95 hours.

Last I checked, I'm at 544 now... probably 546 by tonight unless my instructor cancels. Worst case, I'll just take a quick trip up to PTK to pick up the new L-28 and approach plates.

Oh yeah, planes we flew that are now RIP... scarily enough, at least 3 of the planes I logged time in as a student had crashed by 2005.

N6221C RIP
N65455 RIP
N13586 I think this one is still sitting in the FBO hangar at 76G...

It was late 2003 I think, and I was being checked out in my friend's Cardinal when 65455 augured in at PTK. I heard about it on the UNICOM at 76G, but only found out the tail number later. I think there was one serious injury. :frown3:

I broke a hundred hours in type with my Fly Baby last month. 200 landings and 50 different "airports". Zero ground loops. (sigh of relief)

First 100 hours was all in gliders and took years to accumulate.

Well I guess this is a good post for introductions. I'm rapidly gaining on the 500 hr mark these days, but this was a nice opportunity to see how I got where I am now.
