She's had some rodent damage to the right wing and should be considered a project. I hate to sell her, but I've concluded that this would be the best thing considering some other circumstances. Also, I'd eventually like to be able to take both of my kids flying with me at the same time.
 
When critters chewed the rib stitching on my Fisher I re- ribstitched it right through the existing paint and finishing tapes, then put a dollar patch on over each stitch. One IA I talked to said it was an unapproved repair and could not be done that way, but I pointed out that my plane was experimental so an "approved" repair was not required and found somebody else to do the annual condition inspection. I have no idea if he was right or wrong (for certified aircraft), but last I heard it's still holding up fine 2 owners and 10 years later.
 
Its always sad to see one more tailwheel removed from the rental/training market.
