Movin' On UP in Maine

Travis recently accommodated me to arrange/service the Cessna "Secondary seat stop" for my Skyhawk. It wasn't the result of an AD, but Cessna paid the cost of doing it(pilot side, only).

That really sounds great for the area. Are they doing much up I those big hangars at Brunswick? I am still amazed at the airport and facility that they have.

Maine was our second choice for a new place to live. We chose MA instead.

MRRA (Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority) continues to find new operations to move into various buildings on the "old Base." Some entirely new buildings have replaced older building which were demolished. I don't have specific information re the "Hangars," but all are subject to renovation per needs of new tenants. New T-Hangars have been constructed for the GA aircraft. Recently, though I don't remember the details, a facility will be moving here from the south; one which specializes in servicing/retrofitting, major a/c such as airliners.

I live in Mass also , but have to love what they are doing with the airports in Maine. Maine is the place to go for retro fits of boats and airplanes.
