Mount fire extinguisher in PA28-236

I need to mount a halon fire extinguisher and I feel that there are two options:

1. Mount it behind the trim wheel on the raised channel that runs to the rear seats.

2. Mount it under one of the seats with some sort of clamps.

#1 is easy but I am not sure I want to do something so "permanent" and that slightly blocks access to the left rear seat.

#2 I am not sure how I would do that - some sort of Adel clamp perhaps, but it need to remain accessible and not impede the seat movement.

For what it's worth, #1 is where they are mounted in the new Archers.

exactly how ours looks ... fire extinguisher tucks between the seats and is easily slid forward and out while seated in either front seat just be reaching back. Granted, ours is not halon, so maybe it's larger around?

yup....and if it weighs more than 1lb it will affect the W&B and equipment list.
