I don't know why this trend started or who thought it was a good idea but it needs to stop.
Every time I do certain things now like rent a car, go to a doctor, have a car serviced, deal with a call center for something, etc a few hours to days later I get a call. Sometimes it's a real person but just as likely it's an automated robodialer that wants me to rate my experience.
I try to leave the feedback that my experience was fine but I find the survey annoying- often there's no way to do so and I expect even the human callers aren't doing anything with it.
What it suggests to me when your company has absolutely no idea how interactions with their customers are going and nobody in the corporate office can be bothered to come down and participate in the meat and potatoes of your day to day operations.
Either way, stop calling me.
