If I have my plane back by Sat I'll go but right now that's uncertain(annual).
What's easier, PWK or 06C?Haha that’s a flight! I’m in the city but fly out of KUGN.
Yes.So what you guys are saying is that I need to get to work on my IFR rating.
Getting some approaches in will be nice though the RFD TAF isn't nearly as pessimistic as that hourly forecast. And I've stopped looking at those hourly forecast as they've been incorrect way more often than correct.
It's odd, I've found them to be really good - But in discussions with various pilots, it seems like everyone thinks they're either really good or really bad, no in-between.
Better get up early and get them in beforehand...All my flights keep getting canceled so I will be in Rochelle. I hope I get an approach out of it.
Second! Some guy in a Mooney forced me into a hold.First one here?
Ef me in particular apparently. Hopefully we can actually make another one of these eventually. View attachment 117264

It would help if a new thread was started with the title saying when and where. Hard to keep track of new meets popping up
My thoughts exactly. When new threads are spun up that involve the same group -- I usually miss them unless someone throws at "@" mention my way.The title of this one gets changed as appropriate... And it's a heckuva lot easier to keep track of when it shows up in my watched threads!

Is it open now? Gotta fly down to that area in a month or so to drop my dad off to pick up his new Sierra Denali.Just saw this, looks like a new restaurant will be opening at St Louis regional (KALN) later this summer. I’ll try to get a PIREP when it does.

I guess there's no debate amongst us flatlanders on high-wing vs low wing.
