During the summer, my lady friend's granddaughter Kimberly (age 8) took her first flying lesson. (Original post: http://www.pilotsofamerica.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25409 ).

I mentioned to her today that I posted about it on this board, and she wanted to comment. The rest of this post is from Kimberly:

Think you for watching my vidio.

I love you all. and I love my mom, And i love Richar, And i love flying,

and I am very proud to fly.

I am working hard on my math in school. Becaus a pilot needs to be good at math. or I will get lost. and run out of gas.

;) CUTE!! Nothing quite like sharing aviation with a kid...

Back in September the step-grandsons(and their Dad) were with me for what seemed like countless taxi expeditions back and forth/back and forth. They didn't seem disappointed that we weren't flying. Headsets and all, looking out the windows, they thought it was the time of their lives. Come summer we'll get them in the air.
