You may remember I adopted a wonderful dog, Jake, back in 2005.
He’s of course no longer with us, and we’re down to one little white dog, Halo.
I guess it’s natural to want to “duplicate” a favorite dog. Jake was clearly not a Shiba Inu, too large for one, but had a lot of the characteristics. Both Karen and I were ready for a second dog and were both attracted to Shiba Inu’s. Karen was browsing the web for one, and stumbled upon a family that had to get rid of their pedigreed Shiba because their young child turned out to be allergic.
They were not far away, somewhere south of Atlanta and they agreed to meet us halfway in Alpharetta, GA.

She really is a sweetheart! Let the adventure begin!
