McDonnell 220 bizjet promo film - 1963

I called McDonnell to order one but no one answered my call. :) F-3s and looks like the F-4 prototype in the background at 3:35.

It used to be for sale on Controller years ago. Think it had an orange rudder at the time. Would love to see it get restored into flying condition.
 
The dude who narrates like everything in the 60s either died rich or had the mother of all drug habits.
 
The film promised fan engines which might have made fuel consumption barely tolerable (Center, how fast can you clear us to FL450?). Wonder if they ever got such engines on it?
 
Further investigation showed McDonnell only flew the one and didn’t change the engines. That project was a big money loser. But at least they tried.
 
My hangar neighbor owns it, it’s for sale or I think maybe donation.
 
Also I don’t know what was up w flightaware but it is El Paso and needs some work to make it ferryable

Sounds like the perfect move up to a jet from that slow, small MU2 for Ted and Cloud9
