My club has organized for a local meterologist to come talk to us about atmospheric stability and convection. Wasn't sure if anyone else would like to come on down for that. I know it's a Tuesday at night (but that's the time the weather guy could do it) but if you do...register at eaa582.org

Yes he isn't the famous Scott D of avwxworkshops but we're a small group and couldn't afford him. Coincidentally the local guy is a fan of pilots and is supposedly aspiring pilot. I loaned him my "Aviation weather" book.
