I thought maybe I'd start a new thread. :)

Hey, you're in SW MO? I just arrived in Fayetteville to work on trees.

I am in SW MO and live about 30 minutes NE of Diana's farm. I work in the Branson area and stay down there during the week. Let me know how long you are going to be in the area and maybe we can meet up at Diana's or near by before you head back. I am leaving for Iowa Friday afternoon and will be back Sunday night.

What??? You probably drove right by here!

I probably did Diana. Do you guys have tree damage again? If the work pans out I'll be around for a while. Would love to get together and FINALLY meet you. Chip and I have been talking about getting together for biking or flying.

What's the drive time from your place to F-ville?

And Dean, how far you from F-ville?

About an hour and a half, 2 hours tops. You could probably find enough work in northern AR and southern MO to keep you here all summer. The ice storm trashed this area pretty good.

Matt, I'm right off of Highway 71 between Lamar and Jasper. I can make it to the Bentonville airport in 1:15 (driving), and Fayetteville time will vary.

We didn't get any new damage this year. Still old stuff falling out of the trees on occasion from last year.

Maybe we can all get together sometime, somewhere. :)

Sounds good to me, I have a MPA meeting Tuesday night in Bolivar and I am leaving Friday for Iowa for the weekend, so other than that, I am available. Just let me know when and where and I will be there.

I'll be up Bentonville way sometime this week hopefully Mon or Tues. Supposed to contact the FBO guy there for some tree stuff.

Tom says if you make it by the farm on your way home, we have some trees that need some trimming near the electric lines. Also a few tree limbs are just hanging around waiting to drop on people.

If nothing else, stop by and let's go flying. :)

It looks like a wet and stormy few days, up here anyway. I hope you stay dry. :)

Looks wet here too unfortunately. I don't do much climbing on wet trees. Chance of severe T storms mainly Tues which at least can be entertaining. We don't get chased by tornados till at least March up in Iowa usually.

I'll plan on stopping by on one of my trips by.

Every time I see the title of this thread go by, I read it to the tune of "someone's in the kitchen, with Dina." :)

Sounds good! If if you can't do trees, we can still go flying. :)

How funny. :D Now I have that song stuck in my head.

Fee fi fiddly I Oh

Strumming on the old chain saw

Now all I can think about is Matt with his chainsaw singing...

"What rolls down stairs, alone or in pairs, rolls over your neighbors dog? It's great for a snack, it fits on your back, it's log! Log! Log!"

Of course, I've never heard the one-man log symphony, but Tony has told fables of it.

Yea, many a LOG has been dropped due to hysterics induced weakness from some idiot breaking into LOG LOG ITS BIG ITS HEAVY ITS WOOD...

For those who don't know what we are talking about its a song from the Ren And Stimpy cartoons.

Diana, right now I'm thinking of heading north on Friday to stop at your place. I'll then continue on to Iowa Sat am. If a major contract gets going and the weather is good I may have to change that plan but that's my thinking at this time.
