You were, weren't you? She's a Pearson Vanguard, 1964, which I photographed just off Five Islands, Georgetown, not far from my house. She had sailed back from Sarasota, FL.
The skipper told me he felt he was freezing to death on March 27 -- 38° -- off the coast of New York. Then it snowed six inches. The mast is down to repair some minor leaks at the foot.

Here's another angle on the Vanguard. I was at about 700' msl, leaving her at a considerable distance to port; and used a 300mm lens.
