Anyone watch this show? I've made it through the first 10 minutes of the first episode and the aviation stuff is the worst I've seen. It's not even B movie caliber. Does it get better?

It's not an "aviation" movie, it's science fiction.
I like it.
But you do have to occasionally force your eyes out of focus and disengage some of the higher brain functions so as not to lose the plot.

Agree that it is much deeper than I expected, and the practicality of an aircraft flying for five years on the same load of fuel, well . . . but I'm still looking forward to watching the season finale tomorrow night on Hulu since we didn't get home in time tonight. I don't normally get caught up in TV shows because I rarely have the time to follow a whole season. This one is different. It has a little bit of everything in it, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the season wraps up.

It started out good, but is slowly loosing me with the supernatural spin. Sorry, but I've already seen The Langoliers and Lost.

I've been streaming it. I think I'm a couple or three episodes behind by now, but I do like it. There's not much aviation in it after the first episode, since the plane blows up in the first or second episode so the only aviation left is flashbacks, which I think is all in the cabin.

I watched the first few episodes. Liked the first two, then it went downhill fast. To be fair, I'm not a sci-fi person and I'm not into soap operas, so there aren't many shows I do like.

Even This Is Us started to lose its appeal to me in the second season, but it's coming back around.

Definitely not an aviation show. To me they are trying to do too much with the show. Unexplained time travel, mental telepathy, hallucinations, “callings”, government conspiracies, torture, airplane stowaway, blah, blah, etc.

I’m done with it after the most recent episode that I saw. Just a little too much BS.

Uh, that all should have been pretty obvious from the start, when the plane landed 5.5 years after it took off... :goofy:

Haha. If it was just the time warp and maybe one or two other oddities, it’d be ok. However, it’s like they are purposely trying to be stupidly convoluted.

Thats the thing, let the 5.5 years remain a mystery. The whole show could just be about the people dealing with it, how their lives have changed, how the people they left behind deal with the whole situation, etc. Hundreds of story lines that don't need to come from The X Files.

I watched 3-4 episodes and lost interest. It's piling up in the DVR, but I don't think I will watch it again. Feels like they are trying to recreate Lost.

It just seems Lostish, like they're making it up as they go along.
