This is from my nosegear collapse.

182RG Renters/Operators - Get that SB complied with. its not hard, and a lot cheaper than letting the pins break and the nose gear collapsing (believe me!)

Already done on mine.

Thanks Tony. I printed it and took it to our mechanic. He wasn't aware of it and will check it out on our new 182RG.

I've always been a fan of the 182RG. I'm currently lusting after this 1983 model on ASO. I'll probably never own an aircraft, but for now I'm dreaming of this one.

I haven't had the opportunity to take a ride in one. The specs look good... a little wider than a 172, same fuel capacity as a 206...

Tony,

I deleted your e-mail and can't find your telephone number. Send me another e-mail. The information your are looking for is at the Reno FSDO as they are the experts. I have only delt with two in nine years.

Stache

I *think* that at least some of the Lycomings on the 182RG are affected by that AD.

IS there another AD on 182s to replace all camshafts by 2012 ?
No, but there is an AD to replace some crankshafts on some O-540 engines. Depends on when the crank was manufactured.
