Maggots Force Airliner Back to Gate

Saw the story. At first, I thought it might have been food in the galley that they were going to sell to passengers in steerage. Then I realized they'd have to charge extra for the protein.

Where's Andrew Zimmern when you need him?

I just want to know what the pax with the rotten meat was doing? Why does anyone need to travel with rotten meat? If this was some sort of medical maggot transport I would expect that the packaging would be a lot better.

I full expect TSA to ban carry on board meat of 3.1 oz or more. ;)

Maybe they had a beef with U.S. Air. :rolleyes2:

Geez.... I was sure that pun would have merited at least a groan...

Ah, okay. Thanks! Ask him if they were airloin steaks, too.
