A Gainesville man died Saturday when his small plane crashed near the Lawrenceville airport.

Too sad...not only for the loss of life, but a classic airplane like the Ercoupe. Condolences to all involved.

Tim Blake was very well known at LZU. He ran a machine shop across the street from the airport on the north side and also sold aviation fluids under his wife's business, Pike Oil. A great guy, well liked, and one that will be missed for a long time.
