The guy who bought my plane is taking it home 32S to KMQY (Stevensville MT to Smyrna TN) Going IFR the entire way, CFI is donating his time and the buyer is putting the finishing touches on his IR.

Looks like he's climbing at a little under 100 fpm. Not too bad for a PA-28 at 10,400! :D

They must be loaded pretty good, I'm guessing near gross, full tanks (300lbs) 2 adult males (400lbs) and at least 100lbs of junk (Cas of water all the service manuals, luggage, spare parts etc..) It has about 850 useful, 10,000' is where the climb starts really deteriorating, I took it to 12,500 all the time, not saying it got there in a hurry.
 
Hmm.... FlightAware track is interesting, never seen it do "that" before they obviously landed and 47K, took a break, then took back off again but the FlightAware info is goofy?
What happened there? They forget to Squawk VFR or something?
 
Flight aware often is goofy, it's nothing I let my mom know about even if she won't touch a computer.

I dunno, after they landed they obviously took a few hours break then took back off again but it was all shown on the same route Just pulling into Smyrna now. I'll give it to them, they just did 11 hours in a Cherokee in ONE DAY. From Akron, CO to Smyrna, TN
