Dear aircraft owners . I am planing to fly around the world in future ,but I don't own an aircraft.
is it possible for someone to lend me his aircraft for this adventure? Aircraft required SR22 .
I will be responsible for everything including insurance , maintenance ,etc.
I will pay for all hours flown from the departure airport of the aircraft till return back to the same airport . Period is between two to three months approximate flying hrs 160 to cover distance about 28000 NM .

1) What are your ratings?
2) What is your planned route?
3) What company/arrangements are you making for visas, fuel, over-water training & equipment, emergencies, etc?
4) If you have the money to pay for fuel, insurance, etc, why not buy or lease an airplane rather than asking for personal property?

I’d expect that to cost you about a quarter million, if you found someone willing. If it were me, I’d want It up front. Might as well buy.

Too bad there's a specific aircraft type required. Narrows it down quite a bit.

As much as I like the Cirrus for a mission like this I would imagine there are more suitable planes. Why SR22?

Find a manly 210 or something that's going to burn less gas and still give you the range you need.. Mooney? There's a dude doing something similar in a Lancair(?).. this isn't really something you just rent an airplane and launch off into

Just buy a plane

Plus the extra load/space for gear and additional fuel tank.

Plus it was done not that long ago in a C210

To get things started we're going to need some information. This should get things started:

1. A copy of your valid pilot's license and medical
2. A copy of your driver's license
3. Please deposit US$300,000 in a offshore bank account, provide access codes and enable transfers
4. State your aircraft color preference.
5. If you require a female assistant please provide more details.

....your aircraft will be available shortly after all items have been completed.

I don't think Cirrus makes a single piston version. Would for sure require a dynamic balance to make such a long flight.

You always miss 100% of the shots you do not take.

Good luck!

Probably could lease an airplane for that, which I believe Matt Guthmiller's airplane is that he used for his RTW flight.

What's the fuel range of a SR22, and what's the longest leg over water?

Who the he** would attempt to fly someone else's plane around the world???

Troll - or Henning messing with us.

- or someone who has no clue what the are doing.

First you would have to find someone who is willing to lend you their SR22 to fly around the local traffic pattern. You can discuss the world tour after that.

Thanks for the reply , I am CPL with IR my plan route East bound ,still we I haven't arrange any company for fuel visa etc. Thats can be done later no issue about it , Buying my own aircraft is difficult it will cost me more money ,

Yes you are correct but many pilots flew around the world on Sr22 its safe and very reliable.however I am thinking for any single engine that already flown around the world 210 is a good option but the cost of fuel and maintenance ,insurance I need to think about .

I think I may need from you number 5. The rest I can arrange them . If she also a pilot its appreciated. all cost covered for her.

Makes sense. The sr22 is known for its cheap maintenance costs.

Assuming you're for real...

Having dealt with the scrutiny of officials while driving just a car through other countries, the potential headache of flying a plane into the third world with someone else's name on the registration scares the bejeezus out of me.

I would want something that burns Jet-A.

For the proposed expense, it's curious that you'd have means to fly the plane, but not to buy one for yourself. You'd also need to convince the plane owner of your intentions, that you weren't just going to steal his property, and that if you get arrested in Jihadistan for having the wrong flight permit, that he'll get his plane back or a stack of insurance money so he can get another one.

If you find such a person to loan you a plane, please ask them if they have a second one for me too. :D

Thats Bonanza. I am not familiar with this aircraft . He flew 2014
I will look for lease

Yes I am for real. I will try to convince the owner to fly with me If he agree. I will take care all expenses until he return home safe with his aircraft. how is that sound?

Yes, I believe he said he had a hard time finding someone to lease him a plane, but he finally did. And he's still flying that plane today.

Ok, I was wrong, the OP isn't a troll. If I'm not mistaken the SR22 is still going to need ferry tanks to make some of the legs. Tall order to ask someone to modify their airplane for your trip. To be honest, the price of an older SR22 might not be that much compared to the expenses of flying around the world.

Thanks. Many pilot flown around the world on sr22 without ferry tanks . One leg of 1750 m can be flown with full tank.

In a tailwind maybe. Even then I’m skeptical as would the owner of an sr22 be.

More like 1170 at 55% Best Econ, ifr reserves, NA 22. That's almost 7 hours, no wind, standard conditions.

The place I rent from wants 3 hours per day. I think a dry lease would probably work if the owner knew and trusted you. But were I an owner and had an extra aircraft I would probably say no. I'd be worried about a serious maintenance issue in a remote place where the pilot says screw it, I'm done, your plane is here, go get it.

If you don't mind cutting into your IFR reserves maybe. But if you have a change in the wind you could wind up in the drink. I'd not do a leg like that without some extra juice. The only airplane I know that can do legs like that with reserves is a Mooney.

I've calculated the costs of the journey, and you can rent mine for $425,000. Just one easy payment. It's more of a rent to own proposition, but I do require full payment up front.

Also surprised that this is serious.

So why not start with the You Tubers. Mat G has already done it in the Bonanza (which I leased). So start by approaching that planes owner and offer them a better lease agreement. I wonder what Mat would do?

Then offer up your deal to Mr Aviation101 or FlightChops as they have not done around the world yet. If you have the plane and ratings I am sure they would at least sit down with you and listen to your offer.

If I was going to do this I would be asking our very own @Katamarino or JP (aka Candourist on YouTube). These are pilots who done what you are asking.

Or ideally get Miss Mindy to grab a new Bonanza from Textron and go with :)

Or ask Nikko (Nikkos wings). He even has a SR22.

still we I haven't arrange any company for fuel visa etc. Thats can be done later no issue about it

This, for me, trips the "haven't thought carefully enough about this yet" trigger. There will be all kinds of issues. I met some pilots in Whitehorse who wanted to fly RTW but abandoned it because they couldn't get a flight permit through Pakistan. Know of another who had to turn back because a Russia visa didn't go through. There are many parts of the world that have no Avgas and you'll be stranded if you don't arrange to have it shipped in special in advance. Etc.
Your proposal will have to include a *lot* of relevant details about the route and how you plan to deal with these technicalities, with a lot of specifics.
(Edit: and even then, I'd say no.)
