IFR equipped and current? If not, hope you are planning lots of time. While October 2 is a few weeks away, the way the forest fires are going on out here in the West, you are likely to see IFR conditions because of the smoke. Today, nearly every airport in Washington, Oregon, Northern California and Idaho is reporting IFR/LIFR. Yuck
