Local area Tampa Flying

Playing around with my GoPro camera I strapped it to the bottom of my Cirrus. I love watching videos of people flying, but just be warned... there is nothing exciting nor overly interesting about this flight... just the under-wing of my very old (in Cirrus Years) and a view of a great area to fly in!

Route took me from PIE (Clearwater/St. Pete International) over TPA (Tampa International) and finally landing at KVDF (Tampa Exec).

I had a mild right hand cross wind at takeoff (8@80 for 36R)

Nice video, thanks! I fly out of Plant City (KPCM) now, but I had my PPL training at PIE, and I come to VDF often for touch-and-goes - so it almost feels like that's me flying (except the Cirrus) :wink2:...

We pilots know that every flight is exciting . Yet our real-time flying videos could get boring for non-pilots, so I usually speed them up and make 3-5 mins clips to show to friends and family. Here's one from last year - another Tampa Bay area flight when I took a friend sightseeing:
