Ran into this on Kayak while searching for a ticket to a regional airport.

Any thoughts?

Edit: Not really interested from a customer's perspective. Just curious about business model.

There are a couple of SR22 based air-taxi operations. What benefits them is the need of owners to increase the business use portion of their planes. Pricey but can be an option for someone who needs to move a team of two to a site visit within 250nm range.

Apparently, this one gives you choices of different "levels". Pictures start with Cessna/Piper and go into lights jets with SR22, light twins and turboprops in between. The light jet prices are actually reasonable. But Cessna(172 i think) was a little insane.

KDMW to KRUT for 2 days
Cessna $5100
Light Jet 10000.

I can't tell if the pricing is per seat(seems like that would defeat the purpose) or per plane.

Edit: it's per plane.

Just another attempt to package a charter brokerage in a way more accessible to commercial customers. I think their orignal model was patterned off dayjet and part of the eclipse investment scheme. The operator they are affiliated with has two Eclipse on their certificate, the rest of the work is brokered.

We have an SR22 135 operation at my home field. They seem fairly busy.
