The Kansas City Chapter of the Missouri Pilot's Association is having a flyout to Lincoln Municipal Airport (0R2) on 2/20/10. We're planning on arriving at Lincoln at Noon and having lunch at Papa Joe's, which is a nice local restaurant about 200 yards from the airport. Lincoln Municipal Airport is a grass strip that is 2940 ft. long and 125 ft. wide. If you're flying from the West it's hard to spot until you're right over it due to the line of trees running down the west side of the runway. It's 4 miles due north of Warsaw Airport. Hope to see you there.

Thanks for posting about the fly-out. :) I really liked landing there a few years ago. Nice runway. Plus, they have the nicest Port-A-Potty I've ever seen. :) I even took a photo of it. :D

I wonder how the grass will be by then? Our ground is a mess right now and we can barely walk on it...it's that bad.

Had a good lunch at Papa Joe's a couple of years ago. But what I'm really craving is a guberburger from the Wheel Inn in Sedalia...

Yeah, we'll see how the field is. We're supposed to have 6 straight days of no weather this week. If it's too wet we'll re-route to another location.

Field is still too wet to land at Lincoln so we're diverting to Paola K81 for lunch at We-B-Smokin. Planning on getting to Paola at noon.
