First and foremost, I should mention that I am not interested in looking for a partnership in an SLSA.

I just have a question that passed my mind on partnerships or co-ownerships in a used SLSA.

My question is how hard or easy is it to find a partner or two who want to buy a used SLSA? I think on Barnstormers there are some of those that cost about $60,000 to 80,000 for the purchase price. Are interested partners for SLSAs just as hard to find a place to rent LSAs from a flight school or FBO, if not, a lot harder? Would it be easy or hard for partners to agree on which SLSA they want to purchase? What is it like being in a partnership for an aircraft?

It is likely easier to create a partnership in an SLSA than try to find a good rental situation.

I was very excited to learn that a club I used to belong to had an LSA, so I went to their meeting the other night. And.......they just sold it.

It just didn't fly, it just sat on the ramp while 90% of the time was put on the 172. It just didn't earn its keep so out it went.

Pity that, with my out of medical condition LSA is very attractive to me. There is an FBO about 35min away that rents a Skycatcher, I may go take a ride in it to see if I like it. (162 seems to be panned more often than not)

Are you planning to renew your medical anytime soon? Do you have anybody keeping your mooney running? I hope you get back in the air soon.
