It was my fortune to meet Jon Melby on the ramp yesterday. He was en route to an airshow at Elmendorf AFB...hand flying the Pitts the whole way. He was ready to saddle up after this fuel stop but took some time to have an interesting conversation with me. Jon seemed familiar with Chip and his ex-Extra.
