Normally this doesn't sound like a big deal, but I haven't logged PIC since February. Medical ran out the end of the month, passed out on a flight back from Tokyo on March 8 (ate something in Seoul that didn't agree with me) and finally got my medical back on Thursday (signed by Dr. Silberman himself). A long dry spell. Sent my CFII an e-mail saying "It's time to fly" and we'll go beat up the 172 after work on Tuesday. Stuck in IEEE meetings yesterday and today, otherwise I wouldn't be waiting until Tuesday. Guess my carpool rider is going to have to drive himself on Tuesday, unless he wants to ride in the back seat after I do 3 touch and goes. This is going to feel GOOD!

Holy cow. Dr Silberman still at it. He signed my very first medical. My AME was the good Dr's room mate at Stanford and had been golfing buddies since then. And he passed on a few yrs ago after a very long and staisfying life.
