Lets have a continuing thread and just call it Irony. Post what every you feel is ironic from time to time So here is my opening post. Two things I find Ironic.

1) We have a FedEx account for the firm. When we are billed by FedEx we have to mail our check to them via USPS. I think UPS does the same thing.

2) Even more ironic I recently sent a request pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, to the Post Master of a local post office. The post master responded by mail of course and in an official USPS envelope with a mailing permit stamped on. The Envelope from the Post Office to me was delivered with Postage Due.:dunno: Image attached.

I'd refuse the postage due, and let em have it back. Then I'd file another FOIA request. Repeat until they pay for it.

Ooooh. I got one....

A company sues another company attempting to gain market share by eliminating the competition. They lose customers because of it. :D

Those who most loudly shout about and most fervently believe in grandiose government conspiracies are also those who scream the loudest that the government can't do anything right.

And in many cases they are correct on both counts.

A friend was riding her horse at a riding stables. Her horse fell and broke her leg. The insurance company for the stables contacted her, and told her that they would not pay her medical expenses under the stable's policy unless she sued them. She had not thought about suing, but after talking to them she decided that she would, and they paid all of her bills.

wait - the horse fell and broke its leg or the horse fell, causing the rider to break her leg? Insurance company wouldn't pay for the horse's broken leg or the rider's leg? Did the horse have a rider on its policy? ... :cornut:

Only if the horse were a she would it not be clear. Was the horse a female? Perhaps the horse passed by a mirror and could not ignore looking at her reflection, therefore stumbled because she could not look and walk at the same time. It's not like that's the first time that has happened.
