Are you an iPhone user? If so you may now be aincredibly annoying know-it-all, with the Internet to back me up.

"It's turned me from a really annoying know-it-all into an incredibly annoying know-it-all, with the Internet to back me up," said Sadum, a technology writer in Denver. "It's not a social advantage."

Articel is about the traps of instant knowledge from the Internet.

Although I don't have an iPhone I have fallen into this trap myself.

I already knew it all, now I can just prove that I'm right faster. It makes the arguments much shorter.

For every time I use it that way, though, I use it 100 times to learn some tidbit of info that I was curious about at that particular instant, which I love. I've always been very curious, so it suits me well.

I was at my cigar club in the bar when thr discussion went to what a pimento was.

Wikipedia on my Windows mobile phone....

(It's a pepper.)

Dare I say, I'm very tempted to get one. Not to be an incredibly annoying know-it-all (I don't need internet access for that :D), but because those phones are pretty darn amazing. Look at that cool, black surface and get sucked right in. It's like a pocket obelisk from 2001! (the movie, not the year)

I like to read the forums (Blue, Purple and Red boards in addition to some others) from my iPhone, works great for it. The web browser is fantastically useful, not like the terrible ones on all the other phones I've used.
