inner cylinder baffle question

Hello
I have the following inner cylinder baffling on my O-200
I want to confirm its going the right direction
does the long portion touch the front or rear cylinder? ie does the long touch cylinder number 4 or 2, 3 or 1.
its currently set up where the short end is on the rear cylinder (1,2) long on front cylinder (3,4)
Also if anyone can identify what type aircraft these baffles are from that would be great.

so I’m not following... you have an 0-200 but not a plane? I mean most of us know what make and model resides in the hangar?

its an ercoupe, although clearly not ercoupe baffling...
a previous owner swapped the original Ercoupe chimneys for this inner cylinder baffling...

gotcha! Makes more sense. I’ll see if I can stop by my hangar and take a peak- I have her lil sister the c85 but it has 0-200 jugs...

Cylinder baffles are part of the engine, not airframe. At least all of mine have been. Buy an engine, it comes with inner cylinder baffles installed.

I would love to find a parts manual for my Alon A2 Aircoupe. The online parts manuals Univair has for the Ercoupes and Forney Aircoupes leave a little bit to be desired and aren't a direct correlation to the Alons.

Look on Ebay as some older original manuals pop up from time to time but usually at a premium. Also contact Essco Aircraft as their library of old aircraft manuals is extensive.
