Love the burgers, but not a fan of In-N-Out's fries. Let's be honest here - McDonalds fries are just impossible to beat.
Thanks for the link, but I'm surprised that people don't like their fries, because I like theirs the best. The obligatory article on In-n-Out's "secret menu:"

I like McD's fries but I actually prefer fresh cut fries like Five Guys or similar.Love the burgers, but not a fan of In-N-Out's fries. Let's be honest here - McDonalds fries are just impossible to beat.
The thing about In-N-Out isn't the overall quality, but rather the quality for a given price. I can get a burger combo at In-N-Out that is cheaper than McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, etc, and it's a much better meal. There are definitely better burgers out there, but for about 6 bucks for a combo, I don't think you'll find anything that comes close.
Is that a joke I'm not not getting?Inn & Out

A new Popeye's chicken opened up down the road from work. I've never really had Popeye's except for a couple of leftover pieces of chicken sitting in the fridge, but I thought they were pretty good. They have fish and shrimp though, so I figured I'd check them out.
Bad mistake to go at lunch time. The line was almost out the door and they had cones to channel traffic through the drive through. So, the place is either extremely popular or extremely slow.
Where was I going with this... Oh yeah, so I bailed and did Inn & Out instead since it was close by.
Probably because In-n-Out is just potato, salt and oil while most other fries has a ton of other ingredients/chemicals added.
Okay, sorry... You were typing that consistently so I thought there was some joke there that I couldn't figure out. LOLOh, you must be referencing the misspelling of the name. It was unintentional. I guess my brain doesn't like to put the middle 'N' in there.

I must have missed something when I went there. Burger was kinda 'Meh'
Yeah, Shake Shack does make a good burger, had one in NYC a few years ago. I still gotta lean toward In N Out though, can't top theirs IMO.Shake Shack are pretty new to California, but I did try them the other day. Have to say that was a pretty damn good burger. I think it might have ended up being my new favorite. Their wavy fries tasted good, I'm just not a big fan of the shape. But the burger was amazing...

The answer to the question "What to order at Popeyes" is always Spicy Chicken Tenders.

There's a new place here doing a 1/2lb bacon cheeseburger, but instead of buns the buns are grilled cheese sandwiches. It was AWESOME! I usually put ketchup/mustard/mayo on burgers, but this was so good I ate it just the way it was. Buttery cheesy smoky bacon goodness!!!
Twin Peaks Billionaire Bacon Burger is pretty damn good. Plus you get to wash it down with cold beer while taking in the scenery.
Damn that looks good too! And you say the scenery is good too eh, mountains or mounds you looking at are ya? Why won't my Doc let me eat those?
Your doc is a commie bastard.
Well I have yet to try them. Damn, and to think I just did a lunch run. Oh well, next time.
We are in complete agreement. (A POA first? )If In and Out could have 5 Guys Fries, then it would be perfect!
