I'm Guessing These aren't Available in Coach? "Top Ten Airline Meals"

I've had the Qatar meal. It was good, but doesn't compare to Emirates. I'm surprised they weren't mentioned.

I have had the Singapore, Malaysian, Luftansa, and Cathay airlines meals. In both first and business class. Singapore is always constantly good as is Cathay. While not listed here JAL is also very good.

The two American carriers I fly, AA and UAL, are also not bad. They each have their strengths and weaknesses. For instance I love being able to get Umeshu (Japanese wine) on AA, but I like the cheese selection on UAL much better. I do miss the lobster on AA. The stopped that a couple of years ago. It was something that was served with the salad. Most people would get a piece and then move onto their main course. I would skip the main course and get a second serving of salad with several of the elft over lobster pieces. YUM!

Also caviar is no longer served on any flight I have been on in the past couple of years. I do love caviar and miss it. UAL has added a hot soup course in first that is very nice though and for long flight that can be a welcome addition.

the bottom line though is that it is still airplane food. It is better than snot but not something I would order in a restaurant.

I ride (I refuse to say 'fly') in coach. Whatever the snack is on a flight (usually 1/2 oz of something) plus a soda. Yumm  Or a $5 snack box on a transcon.

Business class? First class? Only when the airline needs my seat in coach and gives me a free upgrade. My employer sure doesn't pay for it.
