My aircraft has had multiple radio replacements. I know the loran and dme are long gone. I want to identify any antenna removal candidates. All but one top antenna is identified. The one unknown antenna on top is connected to a bnc connector in the rear passenger area. It's been there a long time as it has paint on it from a 25 year paint job an a 1976 Piper. The previous owner said that he thought they told him it was for a cell phone from the '80's, but he was not sure. I have attached a pic.
I have also attached pics of all the antennas on the belly, except for the transponder. I know one is the ADF, but I am not sure which it is. Maybe someone can help me identify them all.
Thanks.

That does look like a AMP cellphone antenna.

The box thing on the bottom should be ADF.

There are two boxy things on the bottom. One squarish and the other move oval. Which one do you think is the ADF?

I am thinking that the rounder one on the bottom may be my Storm-scope WX10a. I may just have to tone some of the coaxes and see where the go under the panel.

First picture is a bent whip COM antenna and a marker beacon. Second picture looks like a storm scope antenna, 3rd picture looks like a king KA-42B ADF loop antenna, 4th picture not sure... kinda looks like a 121.5 ELT antenna, but its a bit on the short side, so perhaps it is an old cell antenna.

That could actually be the old Loran antenna. They were about the same size. The old Northstar units used to have a bent whip like that.

Yeah, you are right. Both the bent and straight look very similar to COM antennas, so that definitely could be a LORAN.

I toned out my hand-held cable and it turned out that the bent antenna on the bottom was for the handheld. So, the top antenna that I thought was the hand-held may be the old loran. It looks like a com, but it is a little longer. I have attached a pic. The rod part is 19.5" long. Thoughts?
Also, the second pic is the stormscope now that I looked into the tailcone.
