Final Approach
Went to work this AM- 10°F OAT. Seeing some precip on the windshield...turn on the wipers and it doesn't brush off..of makes a sheet of opaque ice. Turn on the weepers and de-ice windshield. My first encounter with supercooled drizzle.
Afternoon blowing snow, fairly strong winds kicking it up and knocking back visibity...ice under the snow on I-80. A saw a van spin out and cross the other direction of traffic. No damage...they had a red light the other way, he centered himself on a snow bank.
Everyone...be careful out there!
