I WON!!!

$125 i bought a few sets of those. It made me llook into the whole wings of hope and I like what they represent!

Ok. I know you got a deal for multiple tickets. Wings of Hope is now on my small list of charities I will give to every year. And not just because I won the raffle.

Can you steer me to their website? All I can find is a website for the plane drawing, and then other websites who don't really look like the same organization.

I also get a new Lightspeed Zulu headset in the deal. I might be willing to sell that and buy 2 cheaper models of headsets and have a few bucks left over for fuel. Right now I don't see a need for all the functions that come with the Zulu. Anybody have experience with them?

Yep, I have a pair, if you use em, you'll wanna keep em.:D

Or the wife will claim them as hers. I value my hearing. I have near perfect hearing after 6 years military and 9 in law enforcement, and decades of shooting for fun and hunting. That's a lot of noise! Don't want to ruin that. I'll keep the headsets.

do NOT sell the zulu's....:nonod::nonod::no:

NO

What Ben Said!

As for Kent ( Flying Cheesehead) You absolutely must meet up with him. He is a great guy and a POA Veteran. Connecting with local POAers makes flying even more fun.
:yeahthat:
Ok. I won't.
GOOD! Leslie and I both have Zulus and love them. We have two other headsets that we purchased during training (including a Dave Clark) that are only used for passengers now. And you definitely want to meet up with Kent et al. In fact, a Wisconsin/Illinois/Iowa/Minnesota/Michigan/Indiana/etc. get-together wouldn't be a bad idea at all!

I'm the Wings of Hope volunteer who left the message on Josh's phone. It's great to see everyone's enthusiasm about his winning! ....and additional thanks to those who accessed our home website http://www.wings-of-hope.org to see where those dollars go. FYI, in 2012 we flew 700 medical air missions providing free transportation for kids unable to fit into a commerical airline seat. For those who didn't win we're now looking at a nice 172 and hope to start another raffle around April.

That's pretty cool to be the person to call him to tell him something so darn cool like that!! 172 now, you guys make it too easy to give to a charity especially a good one!!

Where in St Louis? Your name is familiar.....

Let me pile on here. Do not sell the Zulu. Use it. If you need 2 headsets, buy another Zulu.

The new raffle has started! A nice 172 with zero time engine, complete with flight instruction (your choice), a zulu headset, and a 3 year membership in Cessna Owner Organization. All proceeds benefit our Medical Air Transport program which provides free air transportation for needy kids with severe medical issues. Click on: www.wingsofhoperaffle.org

Looks good. You might want to check the website text under PPL. The minimum age to SOLO is 16, not the minimum age to get a PP cert. That's 17.

How is the training portion of the 1st and 2nd place prize handled if the winner already has their PP cert? Just curious.

Awesome! Enjoy the new plane.

Josh I will only forgive you for winning my plane IF I WIN the 172 this year. :D JK
I hope you enjoy your new bird. I will be buying another ticket this year for a good cause.
