That's the beauty of Best ball you do not have to be good to have fun. You get to pick up your ball and go to the ball that was hit the best. In best ball it is usually the not so good golfers that make the difference. That one hit or putt that just happens to go in. A better than scatch golfer challenged three of us to a best ball skins game for 4 holes. two of us were 5 handicap one was 25. Although most of the shots taken were from the two better golfers the 25 HC golfer holed a chip and sank a long putt. We won all four holes. The better golfer did not give up and figured he could win his money back on four more holes. Bad choice as now I had nothing to loose, Golf is "all mental you know", I matched him shot for shot and the 25 HC put another long put in for us to win four more holes. I ate steak that night.

I don't golf, and I don't think that her swinging a club with her recent abdominal surgery is a smart idea!Tell her she will be could be golfing with my wife also so she won't be the lone female. Nothing says she has to hit every ball and you use carts so she can just sit back and take in the fun if she likes. Pete are you still planning on golfing? It is on Monday the 11th.
I went out today and golfed a 3 over on the front nine. Much better than the last time. I left the driver in the bag most of the time and went with the 2 and 4 iron. I have 4 of us signed up Pete, Dan, Scott, and Aaron. Everyone but Aaron is a pilot But he is the best golfer so I let it slide.

Final results,
We took first place by 2 strokes. par 72 we shot a 63. Very nice day for golf. I took my wife along for a fourth and sure enough she knocked in a put for us. We missed a 10' put for an eagle which we should have made.
Diamond brought an aircraft for every one to look at.
