I got a blue ribbon!

You all may or may not remember my Origami bug project from last year, but I put the whole kit and kaboodle in a shadow box (tried to make it look like an insect collection from a museum or lab) and got a blue ribbon at the state fair. I'm one for one thus far. Got to eat a fried milky way bar as well. Yum.

Not yet, but I will. Got it signed by Joe Kittinger, the highest skydiver there's ever been. He is a real hero!

That's awesome! Congratulations!!

I was at the David Hartman interview forum too... very cool stories, I especially enjoyed the final interviews with Joe Engle on the STS-2 mission and the X-15 flights. Truly fascinating discussion.

Can't wait to see a picture of the skydiver origami!!
