Even as I look at that man's pancaked deathtrap, I still think there's nothing more natural than the desire the fly and I want him to have succeeded.
Pretty sure I rented that Kenyan plane once.
Cool to see the replies to the second video. While some part of my laughed at the plane hitting the ramp, I also smiled and admired the guy for chasing his dream.
The first video was impressive, too. I assume this is much more fuel efficient and safer than a pure vertical take-off the plane is capable of?
Isn't it great that we live in a country where we don't have to ask permission from the government to use a runway? I mean at a few airports we have to ask for clearance from a local guy in the tower, but we don't have to get expressed written consent from a government agency.
I do admire this guy for his stick to itness..... I hope he succeeds...
