How to not yell at TV during SOTU

From the title I thought "WTF is this doing outside SZ!"

Excellent diversion!

My solution was: 'Don't watch it'

But of course, I'm still trying to find the cash to get up in the air. *continues search under couch cushions* :D

Diversion, working to stay uninformed...Tomato, Tomahto :D:D:D:D

It was really windy last night Stan. We had low ceilings and light snow too. It cleared up later. But not a night I would have wanted to get up in the sky unless I had to!

Still informed - used the DVR, and I'll watch it tonight.

It was pretty smooth at 3,000, but fairly rough below that. MKE approach was great, as always, accomodating our round-robin flight. When I arrived at the airport it was 2,200 scattered, but when we took off 45 minutes later, no clouds at all.

When I went back inside to warm up after my preflight, I said "This is rediculous", but let it not be said that this IR student is a fair Wx IR student.

I was planning on flying to JVL late this afternoon for a volunteer meeting for the Southern Wisconsin Airfest (weekend after Memorial day), but unless these winds die down, I may be driving.

I think this evening it will be cold but good winds gusting to 25knots, not too bad. Lots of clear air here today. I actually have the blinds in both the east and south facing windows of my office closed.
