How to do a pre buy inspection on a 2005 Glastar

I'm in the process of looking to buy a Glastar. I found one from the builder which use to be his personal plane. Is there anything, in particular, I need to look for? I have inspected certified a/c in the past but not a composite/metal airplane as the Glastar.

Are you asking as an owner/pilot casually inspecting it, or as an A&P?
