Since you're looking for the minimum that's greater than or equal to 0, the answer is 0 since the variable x y and a haven't been substituted in and I can set them to values that would make it 0.
 
I'm loving that 70 respondents are in the age bands higher than mine.

I feel... almost middle aged!
 
Younger than our plane. The plane is 9 years older and is 53 this year... :D

The best definition of "middle aged" I've seen is as follows:

Take the oldest person you know. Someone between their age and your age is "middle aged". Works well until you are the oldest person you know. :p
 
42. And loving it. Healthier and doing more fun crap then when I was 32 or 22.

Take your age and double it. Think you will see that answer as your age.??

For a 25 year old, doubled, is 50, and will probably live a minimum of 25 years beyond 50 so not middle aged.

I am 59. I am not going to live to 118, (I really would not want to live that long) so I am past middle age....:(
