Does anyone know the state of this airport? I'm looking for a place close to my sister and this one came up but the comments in ForeFlight suggest that the runway has seen better days. I'm just wondering if I would have any problems taking a Piper Cherokee PA-28-140 there.

I checked a recent facebook thread on 5W5 and it ranged anywhere from "not good" to "I'm based there and planes have been known to fly in/out of there". I have no personal experience with it but the posts didn't make me want to fly in there.
BTW, if you are looking at JNX, there's a decent BBQ restaurant on the field. That's good but it also means parking can be a problem. Especially since there is a large Part 141 training operation (Blue Line) which has pretty much taken over the airport.

It's not great but useable. It doesn't get used a lot so better look the runway over before landing to ensure it's clear. I have no idea if the airport is accessible to come and go by car. I just landed there pretty regular when I had my 150 because it was a unique little place.
