I can't tear myself away. But the show is so cynical and even a bit dark.

But I can't tear myself away.

Haven't started the 2nd season just yet but loved the 1st season. I think I watch the entire season in a week or so

Also recommend watching the original British version on Netlfix, it will not spoil the US version.

I totally binge-viewed the first season. Wasn't so crazy about the second season.

Second season had less Frank U talking to the camera, that's what made season 1 so interesting, you got to "hear" what he was really thinking !!

I missed the "... you might think that, but I can't possible comment" line

Loved the cuff link closing shot on ep1 season 2.

Yeah, and maybe it's just the nature of second seasons, or sequels -- they're rarely as good as the first. Plus -- spoiler alert!! -- I liked it better when Frank just seemed to be an overly ambitious politician, instead of a psycho killer.

It basically telegraphed most of the surprises of S2 for me...I kept thinking to myself "I wonder when such-and-such is going to happen" that happened in the Brit version, and soon enough, it did.

I don't know. He was pretty much a psycho killer from the very first episode...he just started with a dog.

After watching the British series, I can predict how it will end, and who will be responsible for that end.

Not a big fan of the show - there's no one to cheer for.

I wound up to finish watching the second season just to find out what happened. It was a little too predictable, there wasn't much suspense.

For some reason, this is in the same category for me as the new Battlestar Galactic. There weren't many likeable people, but I wanted to know the story.

True. I felt worse for Freddie than I did any of the characters that died or went to jail. He was the one real person in the show to me.

(not a spoiler) The circumstances get more and more far fetched, but the House of Cards doesn't collapse this season.

Guaranteed, the real DC is worse. They actually affect people's lives with their BS.

Love the show, though. I think I need a Team Underwood t-shirt. :)

I like the first 5 or 6 episodes. Stopped watching after they killed my favorite character.

It's a show about a psychopathic serial killer who just happens to be a politician. Atleast Dexter had a conscience of sorts.
