With flying a strong common interest and pilots usually resonating well I figured it might make sense to ask here. Anyone in the US interested in home swapping to Europe with a mid 30s couple with kids? Summer 2023. Distances here are small compared to the US. All within comparatively short drives. Just an idea.

Europe is a pretty big territory. Care to narrow it down?
 
Austria is a country located in Central Europe. It is bordered by Germany to the north, Czech Republic to the northeast, Slovakia to the east, Hungary to the southeast, Slovenia and Italy to the south, and Switzerland and Liechtenstein to the west. The country is known for its beautiful landscapes, including the Alps mountain range and its cultural heritage, including classical music and architecture.
 
Austria would be a very good place to base for wandering, wouldn't it?

Have you a preference for where in the US you'd prefer to be?
 
Yes! Hiking, wandering, lakes, culture… and 3 hours by car in any direction and you are in a totally different environment (eg to the south lies Adriatic/Mediterranean coast).
 
Where in Austria? Specs of the house?

I might be interested. We have a house on a lake in Fort Worth Texas

No preference, considering anything.
 
It’s pretty insignificant. Think of it like Switzerland but better value ;)

A long term flip. I need to write a book on the last 5 years. Think "Money Pit" but true life

it has turned out better than even I thought it would. Buts it's never ending. Should have sold it this spring, but the wife wanted to live in it for a year without contractors before we sell it. I surprised her today with six guys showing up before the sun was up to get some projects done.
