Would anyone like to help preserve the oldest island-located lighthouse in New England? George Washington commissioned Seguin Lighthouse in 1795. It has the only operating first-order Fresnel lens in Maine. $20.00 per box of 12 hand-produced greeting cards/envelopes; payable to Friends of Seguin Island, Inc., 72 Front Street Suite 3, Bath, ME 04530(an incorporated nonprofit historical society).
