...is not unusual. We got caught up in it today, eastbound, at about 2P.

Somewhat unusual was the cause of the slowdown:

News reports show the pilot wasn't hurt and no vehicles were involved. Job well done!

So ugly the sky rejected it. Common for zeniths.

It doesn’t look like he had a lot of energy, maybe didn’t have enough control authority to bring the tail down?
