Hi
I inherited the above receiver from my deceased uncle. As I was running cabling to mount the rear speaker cables, I shut down power to the system. Since I was back there, I decided to clean up the cable runs.
My system is pretty basic with a streaming Blu-Ray player to the receiver via HDMI and then output from the receiver to the TV.
When I brought it back up, I ran the auto calibration routine and then attempted to play the blu Ray, but no joy on video.
Command signals appear to work as sources change. I tried plugging and unplugging cables and also changing cables. I ave also plugged in a PC to the receiver and the PC sees the connection and changes to Extended desktop.
I have seen this problem before, but no recollection on what I did to resolve. I don't think this is by-design behavior, but not sure if there is a problem with resolution, etc.
I was able to get video from the BD working by going direct to the TV, so it was sufficient to convince me that the TV is not the problem.
Can't think of anything I haven't tried. Is there a secret mode to this receiver?
