Happy Birthday Kent!

Happy Birthday Kent!

If we can ever hook up for a $100 hamburger, I'll buy the food (we can discuss the rest over the meal).

Hope you have a good one!

Happy birthday, soon-to-be-EX-driver, and (hopefully) soon-to-be-Swift-Owner.

Happy Birthday Kent have a great day I hope you get out to fly.

Bob

Thanks folks!

I haven't done much celebrating the last few years, but when I got a call from Angel Flight the other day saying they REALLY needed me to do a flight for them today, I knew what I wanted to do to celebrate this time around.

Unfortunately, the pretty colored splotch on the radar had other ideas. :( So, no flying today. Hopefully we'll be flying gliders at HXF tomorrow, though.

Happy birthday, Kent! I've logged this special day for you in my logbook - as I logged my first ACTUAL instrument time today! Woo hoo! You IR folks have a nice little club - I think I told my CFII a couple times that "this is awesome!" We obtained a block of airspace from 3k - 5k and 5nm radius of the RYV NDB to do some manuevers, but most of that was on top of the layer. Ceilings were 800 ft for t/o and landing at KUES, but it was still cool coming down through the layer on the ILS.

Anyway, enjoy the day!

Yes, another trip around the sun... Good job.

I'm crewing for my crop duster buddy in your neighborhood this week. We've been working out of Big Foot private strip near Walworth. I hear there is a Swift hanger queen there but I haven't seen it yet. If the glider flying doesn't work out Sat drop down to Big Foot and say hi.

Matt

Awesome, Stan! IFR flying brings with it another whole set of challenges and rewards. :)

I think I may make a quick run to East Troy tomorrow, and maybe down to Big Foot to harass Matt. :D

I have a plane rented this AM to go to East Troy, but it looks like IFR until at least 1600Z, so I will have to take a pass today. :(

Have a good flight if you get up!

Still madly trying to get things done here before I leave, so no flying today. Glider thing got cancelled again due to wx. :(

I drove out to the airport today and was deafened by the silence! There appeared to be NO airplanes flying at Clow between about 5:00 and 7:30. And earlier in the afternoon at Morris, there was an Ag doing spraying, an Extra 200 taking an Italian visitor up for some light acro, and a Christan Eagle. Of yeah, I think I may have seen a 152 come in. That's it, in over 2 hours on a beautiful, warm, Sunday afternoon. Heck, there were periods when we were seeing few metal tubes, too! It was disheartening!

Happy Birthday Kent... sorry I'm late posting here, but I did give you wishes on Twitter.

Looks like I'm late on this one, but Happy b-day man!

A belated happy birthday from me, as well! But I was celebrating your birthday appropriately - by flying!
