It looks to me like the door wasn't wide enough anyway. Look at how the wing impact has stretched past the door on the left.
My guess - someone tried to drive this thing into the hangar opening that was too narrow, hit the walls, and the door got knocked loose and fell on the plane.
Though with the ice - the plane MAY have skidded into the hangar out of control?
