grrrrr.....Problem acessing afss.com

I posted a thread last week about not being able to access afss.com from behind a router. It turns out after substantial effort, that the problem is much broader and not confined to routers, hardware or software.

To summarize, I can access afss only from my office on my MAC or PC.

I cannot access it from any other location on various isps, various hardware, operating system, browser combinations at 8 different locations including the FBO and Flying Club. However, my home ISP provider CAN access it from their offices.

I spoke to the afss.com people and they are mystified. I await a call from their technical staff.

How widespraed is this problem?

I have Comcast at home, and I think we have our school internet through Comcast too. I've had no problems at either location. These are both in the Chicago area.
 
The most interesting thing is that I can access the site from the office, and my ISP provider can access the site from their office.

I can access from home (comcast.net) and from the office on different machines and on the same laptop

Any other sites you cannot get? It may be a DNS issue? Or a firewall that you installed on your computer or gateway.

Could be a bunch of things. You done a tracert yet?

I lived in Chicago (loved it!!) for quite a while, just north of Palwalkee where I got the flying bug real bad! So, when I moved back to Calgary, I learned to fly. And now we're off to Oshkosh - IF - I can figure out this afss thing. OK, I know I can just call, but what the heck is going on?
 
It works fine for me tonight from Colorado. I'll try it tomorrow night from Calgary if I remember...
