Grim crash in Alaska

Anyone know the operator of the Beaver? We flew with Michelle with Island Wings a few years ago. Lots of planes in and out of there.

Sad, it's definitely not a big sky, be careful out there. Condolences to the families.

Don't they have good ADS-B coverage there?

Dave is working medevac on that crash

I was wearing a polo today not a flight suit, but I did go over to the hangar to see how I could help out.

It’s really heartbreaking when things like this happen, it’s a very small and tight knit community.

Many here would disagree with you about the "big sky". I don't. A sad day.
Edit: in looking for updates, I came across a news anchor saying that the accident occurred near "Ca Chicken".

When I was there last year on a cruise, as we pulled into port, I commented that float planes were like mosquitoes up there. It was fun to watch, but you got to keep you eyes open. RIP to all.
