Who says all the great thinkers are in college?

Enough of this snow. Why do they keep forecasting this stuff. It is really dangerous for us motorists. The state should be doing something to limit the amount of snow rather than wasting money on impeachment hearings.

James makes a great point. Perhaps the cost of snow plowing and salting should be the responsibility of those weather forecasters who insist on predicting snow. For example, when I predict that I'm going to go out for dinner, do the taxpayers have to pick up my check? No sir. I pay for that dinner myself.

Poor James...no one told him the weather went to the highest bidder...

Not too many years ago there was a man in my town by the name of Al Nino. He wrote a letter to the newspaper and TV station to try to get people to stop calling him about the streak of bad weather.

I'm not making this up.

I have long held that airports attract weather, especially the worst sorts. That is why the weather stations are located there, so they can report on the worst weather. It never occurred to me that it might be the weather stations that are creating the weather at the airport.

Perhaps the TSA could get involved and try to ban airports.

TSA seems to come up with harebrained ideas well enough on their own. Please don't help them by coming up with any more!!:yikes::D

Aunt Peggy...They are working on it but global warming is slowing them down...

It does kind of makes you wonder how people remember to breathe doesn't it?

As sue happy as we are why not sue Canada? I'm always hearing about a Canadian cold front coming though. Can't we sue them and make them build a wall or something?

Hey Cannooks! Keep your cold air to yourselves..eh!?

Absolutely, just like trailer parks attract tornadoes. (There is actually a theory that there's a reason for that. The grid of homes can create eddy currents.)

Haven't you run into cow-orkers that make you wonder how they find the front door of the office every workday?

The big problem for me and Scott was "there will be 3-4 more inches over the 3-5 inches we got" became the "the Winter Advisory has been extended until 6 PM" at which point there was 9 inches of new snow out there.

I had 2 two hour snow relocation sessions on successive days.

Now I'm beginning to worry that the snowblower will wear out. I have to cut back on clearing the whole neighborhood..

I am not familiar with this species...

cowbirds, yes
cowfish, yes
cow-orker...not so much.

The last time I saw some high school kids try to ork a cow it was not pretty. Apparently it is much harder than cow-tipping.

It's been a long while so I don't remember what they're like. I quit working or even dealing with anyone with the IQ of a smooshed dead bug about 8 years ago. NEVER AGAIN.

I've already taken my "new" snowblower many houses down the sidewalk, and helped out a couple of the neighbors. Sorry, Mike, but you're NOT getting it back!:nono: We definitley didn't get that much snow. I think we have less than 7" on the ground here. Advantage of being 40 miles further south. OTOH, I decided to work from home Friday, Just In Case! :)

I agree. I'm tired of being attacked by Canadian cold fronts in the winter, and Cuban hurricanes in the summer. And as if that wasn't bad enough, all year long, we're assaulted by meteors from outer space!

We have to secure our borders!

I had thoughts it would have been nice to have that one, but then sanity prevails and I realize I'm doing fine. :D

What I've been doing is tidying up the street after the plow passes. I think the neighbors are noticing. I was afraid they'd complain if I ended up leaving snow on a driveway or sidewalk, so I clean that up, too. Now I need a heated cab.

Personally I think, the weather changes and global warming are Congress's fault. After they introduced Daylight Savings Time what did they think was going to happen to the world with an extra hour of daylight all summer long.
